Choir Chair
Used in the Abbey and University Church as seating for liturgical ministers. The ebony stain of this chair is a recognizable characteristic of the furniture that Marcel Breuer used in his many buildings on campus.

Cloud Meinberg Chair
Fr. Cloud Meinberg O.S.B., an architect before joining the Abbey, designed this mid century modern chair. With tapered legs and a curved back, it provides a modern look to the classic desk chair.

St. Paul chair
While much of our furniture incorporates straight lines, the Saint Paul Chair tries to implement curves wherever possible. Its high back gives extra support.

Refectory Chair
Over 90 years ago, these chairs were designed for the second most important space in a monastery: the dining hall. They still serve this space today through solid construction and graceful design.

Inside Saint John's University student center, there's a pub named after the monk, Br. Willie Borgerding O.S.B. When Br. Willy's Pub was built, these stools were made made to accompany those who like a seat up.

Club Chair
This mission style chair was designed for longer periods of reading or maybe sitting in front of the fireplace. Movable pegs allow the back to be reclined and an available foot rest allows one to put their feet up.

For a woodshop, our Steel-Framed Lough Chair does not include much wood. Built for durability, this chair has been popular in monasteries, offices, and residential lounges.
