This classic design is made to last (even outdoors).  For those who enjoy to rock, we also developed a "rocker" edition which makes a great addition to any outdoor seating.

Choir Chair

Used in the Abbey Church for liturgical ministers.  It's ebonized stain is a recognizable of the Marcel Breuer designed buildings on campus.

Chapter House Armchair

Built with added lumbar support and a gracious amount of cushioning, the Chapter House Armchair is designed for both comfort and support.

Cloud Meinburg Chair

Fr. Cloud Meinburg, an architect before joining the Abbey, designed this mid century modern chair.  With tapered legs and a curved back, it provides a modern look to the classic desk chair.

Sisters chair

While much of our furniture incorporates straight lines, the Sisters Chair tries to implement curves wherever possible.  It's high back gives extra support.

Refectory Chair

Over 90 years ago, these chairs were designed for the second most important space in a monastery:  the dining hall!  They still serve that space well through solid construction and graceful design.

High-back Dining Chair

A dining table is a place of community.  Recognizing this, the High-Back Dining Chair invites those gathered for either daily or formal meals to enjoy their time together.

Lounge Chair

If this chair were a car, it would be considered a "low rider."  But what it lacks in height it makes up in depth and support.

Slatted Lounge

It's slotted back and seat allow for a variety of cushions to simply be placed in the chair.

Club Chair

This mission style chair was designed for longer periods of reading or maybe sitting in front of the fireplace.  Movable pegs allow the back to be reclined and an available foot rest allows one to put their feet up.

Every house needs a bench for getting into those high to reach places or to put on your shows.  This stackable and movable bench takes its form from the Abbey Bell Banner that greets guests to Saint John's as they come onto campus.
